Trader Joe's Cranberry Bread Mix Review

Trader Joe's has another tasty treat on its shelves with their Cranberry Bread Mix. Honestly, I wasn't going to buy it because I didn't find the name, Cranberry Bread, all that appetizing. But after buying Trader Joe's Cranberry Bread and making it, I realize it could be called Yellow Cake with Cranberries.

Trader Joe's Cranberry Bread is a sweet, moist cake with tasty bits of cranberry baked in. That alone made for a nice treat, but I decided to frost my Cranberry Bread dessert with a lemon icing. Wow - that really kicked it up a notch. Now I had the tartness from the cranberries paired with the tartness of the lemon icing, and all offset by the sweetness of the cake.

The Cranberry Bread (frosted with the lemon icing) probably ranks up there towards the top among my Trader Joe's reviews. I would definitely put the Cranberry Bread ahead of the Trader Joe's Gingerbread Cake, which I also enjoyed, and probably slightly ahead of the Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread Mix.
