Here are some places in Oakland County where kids can drop off their letters to Santa Claus

Berkley, Michigan Santa Claus Mailbox Location
Now through Christmas, 2011
Berkley Public Library
The Berkley Public Library has their Santa Claus Mailbox ready for letters to St. Nick. The mailbox is located in front of the library.

Rochester, Michigan Santa Claus Mailbox Location
December 4th through December 16th, 2011
Corner of 4th Street & Main Street in Downtown Rochester
The children who send letters to Santa will receive a letter addressed to them from Santa’s elves before December 25th.

Lake Orion, Michigan Santa Claus Mailbox Location
November 30th through December 23rd
Intersection of Flint Street and Broadway Street
The Lake Orion DDA will ensure these letters are market “special delivery” and sent to Kris Kringle at the North Pole. Parent, if you will include your name and phone number at the bottom of your child’s letter, the Lake Orion DDA will contact you to see if there is a gift our secret Santa could provide. Metro Detroit, Michigan Santa Claus Mailbox Location
Now through Christmas
Metro Detroit Macy's locations
Macy's will be collecting letters to Santa Claus at all Macy's store locations throughout the country. Bring your stamped letter to Santa Claus addressed to Santa Claus at the North Pole and drop it into Santa's special mailbox. Macy's will count them and give $1 for every letter received to the Make-A-Wish-Foundation (up to $1,000,000). Macy's will deliver the letters to the post office.
